Media Bistro is reporting that Anderson Cooper and Kathy Griffin will once again be co-hosting the CNN New Year’s Eve broadcast from Times Square.

This year, just to gay it up a little more, they are going to be throwing Lance Bass into the mix.  It is important to remember that it only becomes officially gay when Lance drops by because Kathy only wants to be gay and Anderson is only rumored to be gay.

The gay festivities begin at 10 PM.  OK, not really.  Depending on which way Anderson actually swings, they could be starting at 10 PM ET on January 31st with the special AC360 special called “All the Best, All the Worst of 2009″ and then if Anderson isn’t really gay, the official gay festivities will begin with Lance Bass at 11 PM and run until 12:30 AM.

Am I the only one that wishes the wonderful silver fox specimen that is Anderson Cooper is indeed gay?!

We’ll be tuning into CNN that night since some networks like to be homophobic.
