First we learned that the newly passed DC gay marriage law is under attack by Congressman Jason Caffetz. Earlier today we learned about Bob King, who petitioned Congress to allow the issue to go to popular vote.
Now we’re hearing that Stand for Marriage DC, a group that opposes same-sex marriage in the nation’s capital has bought ads from the DC metro system.
In response, another group, Full Equality Now DC, has demanded the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) remove the ads from metro buses. The group feels that it disrespects and discriminates against the LGBT community, an issue of indecency and in direct violation of WMATA’s own policy against discrimination.
The attacks against our rights seem to be never-ending. Perhaps that should be interpreted as a sign that we’re slowly winning?

There is no way the anti-gay will ever change my view on this. With their constant, unconscionable and obsessive assaults on the god-given equality which gay people deserve, they cement me further and more intractably with each passing day. I barely even see or hear them anymore; but I continue rabidly to support the gay and pro-gay in their fights against them. This rape of gay people needs to end; but since it won't, we must all fight back just as viciously and unendingly by *every legal means necessary*. Thank you.
It is times like this where people (and organizations) show their true colors. The religious argument is a joke. At one point I'd would have respected someone's “religious views” except that these days the people screaming religion the loudest also seem to be the most hateful. I'm sorry, but my God is a loving God. Thanks for the comment!
I'm frankly sick of this anti-gay BS, too. Let's see what happens if we want to vote on their rights. We all know how far THAT idea would fly. So why whould they EVER have the right to vote on our rights? This crap reminds me why I am Pagan.
