The much anticipated vote by the New Jersey Senate on gay marriage that was supposed to take place tomorrow has been postponed.
The President of the Senate, Richard Codey, agreed to postpone the vote until the Assembly Judiciary Committee holds a hearing on the measure.
The clock is ticking — if his bill has a chance, it has to be passed soon as the outgoing Governor supports gay marriage and the incoming one does not.
